FAQ

Assembly?

Click here to see the video assembly guide for full instructions.

Choosing colours?

You can choose as many colours as you like! Remember, they can be dismantled and reassembled, so with just two or three colours you can make lots of different patterns from the same pieces.

Maximum wattage?

We recommend a maximum of 60 watts or an Energy-Saving compact fluorescent lamp. Although a stronger globe wouldn't melt or burn your shade, they do use a lot more electricity and may cause the material to become brittle.

Cleaning?

Like any lampshade, they may be washed with soapy water or ordinary household cleaners such as a surface or furniture spray. Make sure that the shade is completely dry before reconnecting to power supply to avoid risk of electric shock.

The Material?

The Firefly Lamps are made of a durable, heat-resistant polymer sheet that is 30-50% recycled. Developed and made in Australia, it will not discolour or fade with use.
